December Prayer Points

Here are our December prayer points:

• We praise God that Tim finally completed his thesis paper, Embracing God’s Heart for Adoption after seven years and received his MA degree from Tyndale Theological Seminary. While it wasn’t easy having it take so long, it provided him the experience, inspiration and growth he needed to write the thesis. You can read it here.
• Continue to pray for land for the discipleship camp. Scouting, identifying, researching, dialoguing, verifying, negotiating, etc. land is a very arduous process here that takes a lot of time. But we are making progress! We have now identified a number of places that have great potential and we are currently in talks on a few of them. We thank God for wonderful Ugandans He has brought to walk alongside us in this process, in particular, Francis, Steven and Adolphus. To see photos of the land we’ve been scouting, click here.
• The Crossroads International Church team’s vision trip was a wonderful success. We thank God for the encouragement they brought to and impact they made on us, our team, our partners, and many others through their humble, learner hearts and the power of personal presence. We look forward to see what will come out of this trip in terms of greater partnership with Crossroads. Please pray that we may be intentional about following God’s direction in this partnership. • We are heading to North America on Christmas Eve Day for five months for the birth of our baby girl, sharing at our partner churches, a number of speaking engagements, and to work on the curriculum for the discipleship camp. Please pray for our adjustment.
• Please pray that God would raise up a teacher for our children to join us when we return to Uganda come May. Let us know if you are interested or know of someone who is. Spread the word!
